Mariatu Tu Browne is a dedicated educator and influential entrepreneur. In 2016, she founded Tu Organics Salon and Spa in Rancho Cucamonga, California, while completing her bachelor’s degree at CSUSB, establishing the city’s first Green Beauty Salon. Her commitment to environmental sustainability earned her recognition from the City of Rancho Cucamonga. In 2018, she pursued Cosmetology Instructor training from Riverside City College and later accepted an instructor position from the college, mentoring cosmetology students for four years. In 2017, she returned to CSUSB for a Professional MBA degree. Upon graduating in the summer of 2020, she expanded Tu Organics Salon to Las Vegas, NV, during the COVID-19 pandemic. She was honored as the Alumni of the Year in 2022 at Chaffey College and returned to join the Business and Technology Department as an Adjunct Professor of Business, sharing her knowledge and experience with aspiring entrepreneurs. Mariatu is currently pursuing her Doctoral degree at the University of La Verne.
